Bijlage A maakt onderscheid tussen 3 soorten orthopedische aanpassingen aan veiligheidsschoeisel:<\/p>\n<p>Type 1 &#8211; Met aangepaste inlegzolen<br \/>\nType 2 &#8211; Aangepaste veiligheidsschoenen<br \/>\nType 3 &#8211; Op maat gemaakte veiligheidsschoenen<\/p>\n<p>Voor deze drie typen zijn speciale testvoorwaarden gedefinieerd voor een groter testbereik. Naast veranderingen in het testbereik veranderen ook de labelvereisten voor veiligheidsschoenen met orthopedische aanpassingen en orthopedische inlegzolen. V\u00f3\u00f3r de introductie van EN ISO 20345\/20347 waren de eisen voor orthopedische voetbescherming vastgelegd in DGUV-regel 112-191. DGUV-regel 112-191 (voorheen BGR 191) gaat over het gebruik van voet- en kniebescherming. Hierin staat dat elke keer dat veiligheidsschoenen orthopedisch worden aangepast, moet worden gecontroleerd of ze nog steeds voldoen aan de eisen van de norm EN ISO 20345 volgens het certificaat. Deze test moet worden uitgevoerd door een offici\u00eble keuringsinstantie, die vervolgens een EG-typekeuringsverklaring afgeeft. De kosten voor het testen van voor elk paar afzonderlijk aangevraagde orthopedische aanpassingen zijn economisch niet rendabel.
