De extreme zekerheid die een schoen de drager moet geven, is onontbeerlijk. Uitstekende spijkers of dakpannen die van de stapel vallen &#8211; de penetratiebescherming en de teenbescherming van de voet zijn optimaal. In het kader van energie gerelateerde renovatiemaatregelen moeten dakdekkers ook ESD-schoenen dragen. Of het nu gaat om het BOA<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Fit System, de gespsluiting of de klassieke vetersluiting &#8211; hier staan de perfecte pasvorm en persoonlijke voorkeur centraal. De nadruk ligt op de hittebestendigheid van de veiligheidsschoenen &#8211; 50 tot 90 graden hete dakpannen zijn niet ongewoon in de zomer; bij het leggen van lasplaten komen zelfs temperaturen tot 300 graden Celsius voor.
