Our collection with a high recycled content is a best practice of this. We were able to design 7 models with linings made of 75% recycled material and laces and seams made of 100% recycled material. These models are MATTIS XXSPORTS GREEN LOW ESD S1P, MATTIS XXSPORTS BLUE LOW ESD S3S, ENNO XXT PRO LOW ESD S3S, ENNO XXT PRO MID ESD S3S, LUAN GREY-RED LOW ESD S1PS, LUANA GREY-TURQUOISE LOW ESD S1 AND LUAN BLACK LOW ESD S3S.
Moreover, we use laces, perforation-resistant inserts, inlay soles, heel caps, inner linings and other components with recycled material content.
ESD Pro inlay sole made from 75% recycled material
Another good example of the successful use of recycled materials is our ESD PRO inlay sole. It consists of around 75% recycled polyurethane foam and recycled polyester. It is not only sustainable but also offers excellent comfort and performance. The positive contribution in this case is particularly high, as the new version with recycled material is used in all the shoe models concerned.
