The use of recycled materials helps not only to reduce the consumption of resources but also to minimise the amount of waste and to decrease CO2e emissions. In order to make a positive contribution, it is an important step for us to incorporate as many recycled materials as possible into our products. These include, for example, the use of recycled materials in soles and the use of recycled textiles.
ELTEN’s heart beats in Uedem in Germany’s Lower Rhine region. This is where everything has come together since 1910, and a large part of our production still takes place on site in Uedem.
Our sustainability strategy is based on the United Nations SDGs. We are focusing on five goals on the 17 goals without losing sight of the others.
We report annually on the targets we have set and the progress we have made in the four fields of action: environment, society, corporate governance and product quality.
