PAINT, SOLVENTS AND CONSTRUCTION WASTE

MATERIALS THAT A PAINTER ENCOUNTERS ON A DAILY BASIS

Dripping paint, wallpaper paste or joint sealing silicone: if you’re working as a painter, it is important that your footwear is easily washable. Safety shoes for painters should also be resistant against chemicals. Extensive façade work while standing – this is all part of everyday life in this profession. This is precisely why it is important that the shoes are well cushioned and insulated. For this purpose, we recommend the WELLMAXX series of safety footwear, which set new standards in terms of springiness and cushioning. The S3 safety class and ESD certification are also important when it comes to safety on the construction site; steel toe protection rounds off the list of features of a suitable safety shoe.

SELECTION OF PRODUCTS

ARMED AGAINST THE COLD

In safety footwear that is CI-certified, your feet are protected from the cold in winter and in low temperatures. The drop in temperature when wearing these models is very slow. CI stands for Cold Insulated.

NO TIRED FEET

WELLMAXX

As a painter, you are on your feet for several hours every day. They move around a lot on hard floors, stand for long periods of time, or work in a squatting position. For the feet, this means a heavy load. We prevent this problem with our WELLMAXX series! The innovative Infinergy® cushioning material in the sole core, from BASF, noticeably relieves the feet.

WIND AND WEATHER

Only shoes that are comfortable for the respective temperature and conditions are really practical. As soon as our feet become too warm, too cold or even wet, we begin to feel uncomfortable. This can affect our health and ability to concentrate. GORE-TEX shoes are permanently waterproof and highly breathable. They keep your feet dry and offer optimum climatic comfort – in all weathers, throughout the entire product life cycle.

ORTHOPAEDIC FOOT PROTECTION

CERTIFIED ACCORDING TO EN ISO 20345/20347 (DGUV 112-191)

Many people develop foot problems during the course of their lives. Often it is not necessary to have these conditions treated orthopaedically. If your feet still hurt, our semi-orthopaedic insoles can help. If you develop an orthopaedic condition, special orthopaedic insoles are essential. A large proportion of the ELTEN collection is certified for orthopaedic adjustments in accordance with EN ISO 20345/20347 (DGUV 112-191). The orthopaedic shoemaker / medical supply store can make orthopaedic changes, without the shoe losing its protective function.

INSOLES

Semi-orthopaedic insoles close the gap between the foot profile and the flat bottom of the shoe, thus preventing pain and damage in the knee, foot, and hip area as a result of excessive load. They are light, dynamic, and pleasantly supportive. Feet and lower legs tire more

LEATHER VS. TEXTILE

WHICH MATERIAL SHOULD I CHOOSE?

A shoe is only as good as the materials from which it is made: quality makes all the difference. This represents one good reason why we use high-quality leather and high-tech materials. Each material has its advantages. Leather, for example, is characterised simultaneously by its good breathability, durability, dimensional stability and flexibility. Textile products offer greater scope, as they are more versatile in terms of structure and surface design. The textile material, Cordura®, offers extreme tear and abrasion resistance, is dirt and water-repellent, and dries quickly.

WITH ONE TURN

BOA® FIT SYSTEM

The BOA® Fit System allows the safety shoes to be tightened and loosened quickly, safely, and comfortably – with just one hand! The lacing “stays put” all day long, thus ensuring a permanently precise fit. Other benefits include no loose laces hanging down and the fact that the BOA® Fit System is extremely durable – perfect for the harsh conditions of the construction industry.

AGAINST WEAR AND TEAR

PROTECTIVE SCUFF CAP

Whether for coating surfaces, wallpapering and painting work or sanding, filling and plastering substrates – tasks that require painters or varnishes to kneel, squat or lie down demand a lot from the front areas of the safety footwear. For this reason, a scuff cap is recommended to permanently protect the toe of the shoe from abrasion.
