In everyday life, in the forest or on the playground – the new kids by ELTEN range has everything children’s feet need: A flexible, slip-resistant and grippy sole, a perfect-fit, kid-friendly lacing with the twist closure BOA® Fit System and robust, low maintenance materials. NO MORE OPEN LACES!
With the BOA® Fit System, the shoes are on your feet in no time and can be adjusted in no time – so that everything fits and nothing slips. Simply press in the twist lock, tighten it, and you’re done. Thanks to this permanently fixed lacing system, the risk of tripping due to loose laces is banished once and for all. To open, simply pull out the twist lock and then you can slip out of your shoes without any problems.
PEAK PROTECTION
For additional material protection, a so-called tip protection is attached to the front of the upper material. This prevents abrasion on the shoe caused by kneeling, crawling and such.
EASY TO PUT ON
All kids by ELTEN models have a heel loop to make it easy to slip the heel into the shoe. To put them on, simply pull the loop and press the heel down. This also prevents the shaft from buckling and wearing out in that spot.
NOTHING IN, BUT OUT
In order to effectively protect the foot from moisture and wetness, a waterproof membrane is incorporated into the shoe. The pores of the membrane are large enough to allow water vapour molecules to escape from the inside of the shoe, but small enough to keep water drops outside. This means that no water can get into the shoe, but no sweat can accumulate either.
ARE THE SHOES ALSO SUITABLE FOR WIDE OR PARTICULARLY NARROW CHILDREN’S FEET?
Every child’s foot is unique and varies in length, width and height of the arch. Our kids by Elten can be individually adapted to the child’s foot thanks to the Boa® Fit System, which is why children with narrower or wider feet can usually wear them without any problems. Remove the insoles from the shoes and let your child stand on them. In the case of very wide children’s feet, check whether your child is standing on the edge of the sole; this could be perceived as uncomfortable.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CARE FOR THE WATERPROOF KIDS BY ELTEN?
We do not recommend washing them in the washing machine. Our kids by Elten are waterproof thanks to the membrane integrated into the breathable inner lining. To prevent the upper material from absorbing water and making the shoes heavier, it is helpful to spray the shoes with a impregnation spray before wearing them for the first time. Regular care and impregnation supports the durability of the materials.
