With our first sneaker series, L10, we established the retro trend years ago. Now we’re bringing the authentic retro look back. The OTTO safety shoe brings the unmistakable vibe of the 1970s to everyday working life and proves that true classics never go out of fashion. Safety and style complement each other perfectly here, making this safety shoe a highlight of modern workwear.
High-quality suede combined with a breathable textile lining ensure a comfortable fit – even for prolonged periods of use. The shoe is the ideal choice for anyone who values comfort and timeless style in their everyday work life. Whether in clean white, discreet black or eye-catching blue or green, there is a version to suit every taste.
Comfort and protection with every step
The safety shoe OTTO from the RETRO series is available in several versions, in safety classes S1 and S1PS. An integrated steel toe cap provides reliable protection against hazards, while the ESD-compatible sole enables use in work areas with electronically sensitive components. The S1PS versions are additionally equipped with a penetration-resistant insert that effectively protects against hazards from the ground.
The SR-certified rubber outsole in a retro design provides a secure grip. An additional technical highlight: This sole also features cushioning elements made of EVA and SCF (Supercritical Foam). EVA is a particularly lightweight foam, while SCF provides increased resilience thanks to its extremely fine cell structure. This creates a dynamic walking experience and stays comfortable even after a long day at work, easing strain on muscles and joints.
Designed for dry industrial environments, the low-cut safety shoe offers protection and a high level of comfort at the same time. Its functional features and sporty retro look prove that safety in the workplace can also look pretty good.
Sustainably produced leather
Sustainability also plays an important role in the leather used. We only use leather from tanneries that are certified under the Leather Working Group (LWG) standard. The LWG promotes environmentally friendly and responsible practices in the leather industry.
