The sporty models of the Barefooter occupational shoe series score through their lightweight and high wearing comfort. Thanks to the XL EXTRALIGHT® outsole, wearers of these occupational shoes experience an ultra-light walking sensation – just like walking barefoot. The additional rubber reinforcement points protect against premature wear.
COMFORT AND SAFETY
Unlike safety shoes, occupational shoes do not have a protective toecap or a protective midsole, which makes them much lighter. However, the XL EXTRALIGHT® outsole made of expanded ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) takes lightness to a new level. The material is extremely light, soft and elastic. In addition, the flexible profile structure of the sole, with its deep profile, ensures good mobility. At the same time, thanks to its anti-slip properties, it always ensures a safe footing, even on slippery floors. Additional integrated rubber reinforcement points provide additional grip and protect against premature wear. The upper material made of microfiber, mesh material and the breathable textile lining ensures optimal air circulation in the shoes of the Barefooter series.
THE PERFECT SHOES FOR WORK AND LEISURE
With the MAIDU black Low O1 or the APACHE white Low O1, the Barefooter range includes classic lace-up shoe models, while the KIOWA BOA black Low O1 is equipped with the innovative BOA® Fit System. With this practical quick-release fastener, the shoe has a precise fit and can be put on and taken off in no time.
Besides being used in sectors where certain protective features are not fundamentally required (such as healthcare, cleaning and the hospitality industry), these new models are also perfect for wearing in leisure time. All models from the new ELTEN Barefooter series comply with the EN ISO 20347 standard and are available in sizes 40 to 48.
