For many years, ELTEN has provided significant impulses in this field,” said Florian Scholzen-Roosen. The jury regards the award as recognition of ELTEN’s ongoing efforts in innovation. In its statement, it highlights the company’s capacity for innovation, the close link between research, development and practical experience, and its ambition to combine safety, comfort and performance.
This approach has been a hallmark of ELTEN for many years. When developing new models, the company focuses on the people who wear the shoes every day. Therefore, the company collaborates with scientific institutions and develops technologies that meaningfully combine safety and comfort. “Every day, we ask ourselves how safety footwear can be made even better. That is why we are particularly pleased that this work is also being recognised outside our own industry,” says Hendrik van Elten. “Above all, this award is a recognition of the people at ELTEN who contribute to this with their knowledge, experience and ideas.”
ELTEN has received Plus X Awards on several occasions in the past, both for individual products and, in 2022, for the special distinction “Most Innovative Brand of the Year”.
