COVERING CEILINGS, WALLS AND FLOORS
DRY CONSTRUCTION WORK REQUIRES SAFE FOOTWEAR
Drywall builders cover walls and ceilings with wood, plastic and other materials and build their substructure with the help of special lightweight construction systems. S1P safety footwear is suitable for indoor work. It has penetration protection and a toe cap, which protects the feet from any falling or lying around objects, for example when building partition walls. When laying dry screeds, an additional scuff cap is recommended to protect the cap from abrasion. If you work in a damp environment, you can also opt for an S3 safety shoe. The form of safety shoes for drywall installers you chose, either sandals, low shoes or mid shoes will depend on the individual demands and requirements.

PROTECTION AGAINST WEAR
PROTECTIVE SCUFF CAP
Whether cladding walls and ceilings with wood or plastic or producing the necessary substructures – the kneeling, crouching or lying work of drywall fitters demands a lot from the front areas of the safety shoes. For this reason, a scuff cap is recommended to permanently protect the toe of the shoe from abrasion.
NO TIRED FEET
WELLMAXX
Construction workers in particular are on their feet for several hours every day. They move around a lot on hard floors, stand for long periods of time, or work in a squatting position. For the feet, this means a heavy load. We prevent this problem with our WELLMAXX series! The innovative Infinergy® cushioning material in the sole core, from BASF, noticeably relieves the feet.
ORTHOPAEDIC FOOT PROTECTION
CERTIFIED ACCORDING TO EN ISO 20345/20347 (DGUV 112-191)
Many people develop foot problems during the course of their lives. Often it is not necessary to have these conditions treated orthopaedically. If your feet still hurt, our semi-orthopaedic insoles can help. If you develop an orthopaedic condition, special orthopaedic insoles are essential. A large proportion of the ELTEN collection is certified for orthopaedic adjustments in accordance with EN ISO 20345/20347 (DGUV 112-191). The orthopaedic shoemaker / medical supply store can make orthopaedic changes, without the shoe losing its protective function.
ERGO-ACTIVE FIT CONCEPT
Besides the correct width, other factors contribute to achieving the right fit. In order to address typical problems regarding fit (too wide, too narrow, too short), we have developed the Ergo-Active 2.0 system. We distinguish between three different foot types:
- Type 1 (for larger feet),
- Type 2 (for average feet),
- Type 3 (for narrower feet).
MULTIPLE WIDTH FIT CONCEPT
The feet of craftsmen have to endure a lot – so their shoes have to fit perfectly. That is why we offer some of our models in three different widths:
- W (For the average width foot)
- XW (For the wider foot)
- XXW (For the very wide foot)
The comfortable multi-width system provides each foot with the individual space it requires. Since the toe cap has also “grown” in width, the necessary volume in the forefoot area is maintained.
LADIES FIT CONCEPT
LADIES HAVE A NARROWER FIT
Women’s feet are different to men’s: they are narrower and flatter than those of men with the same shoe size. For this reason, we have special women’s models within our range, which offer appropriate solutions to meet the requirements of female foot anatomy.
ANKLE TWIST PROTECTION
INJURY PREVENTION
More than half of all foot injuries are sprains, dislocations or injuries to the ligaments. BIOMEX PROTECTION© stabilises the ankle in its natural movement and protects it against these hazards.
WITH ONE TURN
BOA® FIT SYSTEM
The BOA® Fit System allows the safety shoes to be tightened and loosened quickly, safely, and comfortably – with just one hand! The lacing “stays put” all day long, thus ensuring a permanently precise fit. Other benefits include no loose laces hanging down and the fact that the BOA® Fit System is extremely durable – perfect for the harsh conditions of the construction industry.
