Terms and Conditions for Facebook and Instagram

The responsible organiser of the competitions/giveaways on Facebook and Instagram (hereinafter referred to as campaigns) is ELTEN GmbH, Uedem, Ostwall 7–13, hereinafter referred to as the organiser or ELTEN. The campaigns carried out by ELTEN have no connection with Facebook or Instagram. Facebook and Instagram are not involved in any way and are not liable.

Participation is open to all natural persons. Excluded are employees and staff of ELTEN and affiliated companies, as well as their first-degree relatives, life partners, and all persons who are or were involved in the execution of the campaign.

Participants must have a valid postal address, an internet connection, and an email address. Only one email address and one Facebook or Instagram profile can be used for participation.

The start and end of the campaign will be communicated in the first corresponding post. Participants and winners will not incur any additional costs beyond any expenses for travelling to and from the event. Prizes are not linked to the purchase of ELTEN products.

Winners will be selected either by a jury of ELTEN employees, by random draw from among the participants, or based on the number of “likes” received.

Prizes are non-exchangeable or transferable. No cash payments, conversions, or similar are possible.

Prizes will be sent immediately after the end of the campaign. By arrangement between ELTEN and the winner, they can be collected at the company’s headquarters in Uedem.

ELTEN may request participants to send personal data via private message on Facebook or Instagram for the purpose of prize distribution and respond to these private messages on Facebook or Instagram. If a prize cannot be sent due to incorrect contact details provided by the participant, the prize claim will be forfeited.

The participants agree that pictures and film recordings may be made of them and that the recordings may be published on the website and the ELTEN Facebook and Instagram profiles.

Winners who do not contact ELTEN within 20 days after the end of the ampaign will lose their right to the prize.

ELTEN reserves the right to exclude participants from the campaign in case of violation of these terms and conditions or in case of suspicion of manipulation.

ELTEN may also exclude participants who disturb the process of the campaign or intend to spread illegal or immoral ideas during the campaign.

ELTEN is not liable for any misstatements or the consequences of technical errors.

ELTEN reserves the right to adjust, change, or cancel the campaign if necessary.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining terms will not be affected.

The exclusive applicable law is the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Data Protection Notice

Data collected from participants during the campaign will be used solely for the purpose of the campaign and will not be stored long-term. Participants have the right to request information about their data, its correction, or deletion.

Participants agree that their names and contributions to ELTEN Facebook campaigns may be presented and published by ELTEN GmbH on its websites, Facebook, and Instagram profiles. The granting of these rights is solely for the purpose of operating and providing the campaign. Participants may contact ELTEN via email at service@elten.com.

Consent of the Participant

By participating in the campaign, the participant agrees to the above terms and conditions and data protection information.

Legal recourse is excluded.
