When handling heavy machinery, personal safety and ensuring the safety of others take priority. STEEL VS. SYNTHETIC TOE CAPE
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
Steel caps are stronger than caps made of other materials and are unbreakable – even under high loads. They have a slimmer appearance than synthetic caps, for example. synthetic toe caps are about one third lighter than steel caps and thus reduce the overall weight. They are particularly suitable for areas in which metal is not allowed. ELTEN always uses glass fibre for its metal-free caps.
